National Hardware Retailer Expands Across North San Fernando Valley
Los Angeles, Calif. (March X, 2022) – Kennedy Wilson Brokerage, a division of Kennedy-Wilson Properties, Ltd., announced today that Harbor Freight Tools has leased a 19,985 square-foot retail space at 8966 Reseda Blvd. in Northridge, CA. Kyle Fishburn, Senior Associate at Kennedy Wilson Brokerage, represented the owner, Mushmel Properties, to secure a 10-year lease.
As Harbor Freight Tools’ first Northridge location, this expansion puts the tool store chain in a central location and trade area in North San Fernando Valley. Formerly a 99 Cents Only Store, the freestanding building is highly visible at Reseda Blvd. and Nordhoff St., the main intersection in Northridge. The location is expected to open late summer 2022.
“Harbor Freight Tools is one of only a few big-box retailers that experienced notable growth during the pandemic,” said Kyle Fishburn. “In the midst of its expansion during the last two years, this is the chain’s first Northridge location, where they can expect to continue to grow.”
Building its reputation for the last 40-plus years as America’s favorite tool store, Harbor Freight Tools has more than 1,200 stores across the U.S. for both building professionals and DIYers alike with competitive pricing. Harbor Freight Tools is headquartered in Calabasas, CA.
