SF’s Fisherman’s Wharf Will Add Pollo Campero Restaurant

If you’ve visited Fisherman’s Wharf at Pier 39 you already know a few things: it has selfie-worthy sea lions; parking isn’t great (it’s San Francisco, so … maybe just walk); and dining options are prevalent, but not necessarily awesome.

Kennedy Wilson Brokerage, a division of Kennedy-Wilson Properties Ltd., announced Feb. 10 that quick-service restaurant chain Pollo Campero will be opening a new location at the Wharf.

The 2,500-square-foot space is scheduled to open in November 2022. Fisherman’s Wharf and San Francisco recently addressed the aforementioned parking (and other conveniences) issue with the completion of the Jefferson Streetscape Project, a $16.3 million renovation – completed in late 2021 as part of the Fisherman’s Wharf Public Realm Plan and a key factor in Pollo Campero’s selection of this location.

Kennedy Wilson Brokerage Vice President Matt Adamczyk represented the tenant in the transaction, a 10-year lease, which closed in January 2022.
