Mary Jacobs is Kennedy Wilson Property Services' Managing Director for Arizona, overseeing the day-to-day operations and leasing for all third-party commercial and multifamily property assignments located in the area.  

Mary’s responsibilities include executing property- and portfolio-level strategies to best position her clients’ real estate holdings which include apartment, industrial, land, office and retail assets. She prepares property budgets, negotiates lease transactions and service contracts, coordinates capital and tenant improvements and prepares monthly financial reporting packages for the properties. She oversees a team of property managers, leasing agents and maintenance and support personnel. She maintains open and proactive communication with tenants, owners and vendors, and takes great pride in training and mentoring her staff.        

Her other responsibilities include property inspections, preparing market surveys for clients and monitoring the cost of in-house versus outsourced contract services aimed at reducing costs to maximize net operating income. She has assisted clients with site selection and negotiated purchase and sale contracts. In addition, Mary has served as broker on the sales of distressed properties for banks and other clients.

Over her career, Mary has been responsible for the management of over one million square feet of office space, 600,000 square feet of open-air shopping center space, 20,000 apartment units and 350,000 square feet of industrial.

Education

Mary is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin with a B.A. in Business. She also holds a CPM® (Certified Property Manager) designation from the Institute of Real Estate Management, is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and holds the NCP designation for affordable housing. She is a licensed real estate broker in Arizona.
